WANCHESE — Hobart Owen Harrison died peacefully May 28, 2019 at the home of his best friend and caregiver, Lisa Hayes. He was born March 3, 1934 in West Virginia. Hobart battled kidney and heart disease for several years. He was a US Navy Korean War veteran and retired from F.P.L. Electric company.
Hobart was preceded in death by his parents, Corbett and Bertha Harrison; six siblings, three wives and a son, David.
Besides Lisa, Hobart is survived by his three children Tina, Hobert, and Piper as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Plans for a memorial service with military honors are pending and will be announced in the near future.
