KILL DEVIL HILLS — Jean M. O’Malley Wilson, 92, of Kill Devil Hills, NC, formerly of Williamsburg, VA, died Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at her home.
A native of Newark, NJ, she was born August 4, 1927, to the late Lillian Agnes Beach and Thomas Joseph O’Malley, Sr.
Jean spent her career as a realtor at Rollason and Wood Realty, Inc. and also served as the manager of the Mariner Motel. Active in her community, she was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Baum Senior Center and a parishioner of Holy Redeemer by the Sea Catholic Church.
The best mother that ever was, she will be dearly missed by her daughter, family, and friends.
Jean is survived by her daughter, Sharon Ann Wilson Jacobs and husband John Craig Jacobs, Sr. of Westminster, CA; grandchildren, John Craig Jacobs, Jr. of Seal Beach, CA and Jeffrey Christopher Jacobs of Huntington Beach, CA; great-grandchildren, Kate Ryleigh, Luke Tyler, Abigail Claire, and Jade Caroline Jacobs; sister-in-law, Verna O’Malley of Richmond, VA; and nephew Christopher O’Malley and wife Leigh O’Malley of Richmond, VA.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Richard Wilson, and a brother, Thomas Joseph O’Malley, Jr.
