MANTEO — Jeffrey Glenn Beasley of Manteo, NC died in Elizabeth City on February 25, 2021. Jeff, 55, was the son of the now deceased, Ida Mae and Allen Beasley of Colington, NC.
Jeff was born in Pasquotank County, NC and leaves his loving wife of ten years, Constance K. Beasley of Manteo; one brother, Terry Beasley (Stephanie); two sisters, Mae Lunden (Robert) and Sonia Baum; along with four nephews, Ryan Merritt, Chris Merritt, Orin Beasley and Allen Lee Baum.
Jeff, a 1983 graduate of Manteo High School, grew up in the Outer Banks and enjoyed everything it had to offer. A man of many hats, Jeff worked as a detention officer, salesman and clerk. It was Jeff’s prolific wit and insight that drew his friends and colleagues closer to him. He was a big man with a big heart and the void he leaves will be felt by many.
A graveside memorial service and committal will be held, Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 1 PM at Hill Top Cemetery in Colington. Pastor Teresa Holloway will officiate. Masks are required to attend and all COVID precautions will be enforced.
