SOUTHERN SHORES –Lorraine Carole [Clarke] Myers, 75, of Southern Shores, NC died Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center in Elizabeth City, NC.
Born in Upper Darby, PA on August 16, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Regina Mae Seggern and Marvin Ellsworth Clarke.
An amazing baker and cook, Lorraine also enjoyed crocheting, knitting, bluegrass music, and NASCAR. She placed others before herself, but family above all else.
Lorraine is survived by her husband, Martin S. Myers; two children, Tara Barrett (Ryan Miller) and Martin E. Myers (Melanie); three grandchildren, Alexis Barrett, Molly Myers, and Marshall Myers; and two siblings, Renee Clarke and Robert Clarke.
A funeral will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, March 6, 2020, at Twiford Colony Chapel, 500 Budleigh Street, Manteo. The family will receive friends and relatives for a viewing and visitation one hour prior to the service.
A memorial service will be held in Pennsylvania in the coming weeks. Details to follow.
