WANCHESE — River Faye Ross, infant daughter of Kelsey Leigh Kane and Nicholas Isaiah Ross of Wanchese, NC went home Thursday, June 20, 2019.
In addition to her parents, River is survived by a brother, Roan Ross; grandparents, Sheila and Ed Kane, Frank and Lorena Ross and Paula Meekins and Danny Rogers; great-grandparents, Patricia Kane and Charles Meekins; aunt, Zoe Kane; uncles, Mark, Sam, Luke and Leo Ross; as well as a large extended family including many additional aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandmother, Clara Faye Meekins.
The family will welcome friends and relatives to celebrate her life from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at Twiford Colony Chapel in Manteo. A graveside funeral will follow beginning at 2 p.m. at Southern Shores Cemetery.
