WANCHES — Sheryl Caudle Williams, 71, of Wanchese, NC, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2025, at ECU Health Beaufort Hospital. She was born on February 20, 1953, in Champaign, Illinois, to the late Margaret “Mildred” Pearson and George Edward Miller.
Throughout her life, Sheryl dedicated herself to nurturing young minds through her work with the Dare County Schools Afterschool Enrichment Program. Her commitment to the education and well-being of countless children left a lasting impact on her community.
Sheryl is survived by her loving husband, Milton “Billy” Williams; her sons, John William McDonald III and Michael William Caudle; eleven devoted grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy; and her beloved sister, Susan Dick. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no service. The family appreciates your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
