Sue Ann Davis

On December 28, Sue Ann Davis, formerly of Frisco, passed away at her home in Winchester, Virginia, after a long illness with her husband David by her side. Somehow, during her illness and many setbacks, Sue Ann still managed to smile and kept her sense of humor right up until the end. She had a heart as big as the ocean and would try to help people any way she could literally giving you the shirt off her back.  While in Hatteras, she worked at Hatteras Harbor Marina, Village Marina, Spugeon’s Miss Hatteras booking shack, The old Durant Motel, and Buxton Books. In Winchester, she worked for AT&T but really enjoyed working at Shenandoah University, where she loved interacting with the students. An extremely hard worker, she rarely took a day off.

After moving to Northern Virginia, she became a huge fan of her beloved Washington Nationals baseball team and enjoyed watching the game nightly. It will be a lonely spring training this year without her yelling for her favorite players.

She is survived by her loving husband, David Bray.
