KILL DEVIL HILLS — Talmage Marcellous Walton, Sr., 83, of Kill Devil Hills, NC died Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at his home. Born in Danville, VA on January 23, 1936, he was the son of the late Una Joynes Walton and Riley Marcellous Walton.
Talmage served his country honorably in the United States Naval Reserve.
He is survived by two sons, Talmage M. Walton, Jr. of Kill Devil Hills, NC and Earl R. Walton of Virginia Beach, VA; two grandchildren, David Walton and wife Martha of Portsmouth, VA and Andrea Walton of New Bern, NC; two great-grandchildren, Bradley and Issac Warren of New Bern, NC; and five siblings, Ann Bishop of Virginia Beach, VA, Michael Walton of Oregon, Suzie Walton Blackwell and husband Mike of Arlington, VA, Paul K. Walton of Virginia Beach, VA, and Jeffrey L. Walton of Norfolk, VA.
Talmage was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Lou Walton.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no service at this time.
