Pumping has quickly approached the village of Buxton since this past Tuesday evening when the dredge resumed digging. The marine forecast shows that offshore sea conditions will be severe this weekend with predicted peak wave heights between 8-10 feet. This is well beyond the safe operation requirements for the dredge.
