A Coast Guard 47-foot Motor Lifeboat crew from Station Hatteras Inlet launched at approximately 10 p.m. and arrived on scene at approximately 10:40 p.m.

The crew medevaced and transferred the man to Outer Banks Hospital in Nags Head for further medical attention.
