A 15-year-old girl from Harnett County that was the subject of an Amber Alert issued Tuesday was found safe in Kitty Hawk, and two men have been charged with multiple felonies.

WRAL-TV reported family members believed the teen was in danger after someone picked her up outside their Spring Lake home on Tuesday morning.

She was located Thursday in Dare County by state and federal agents, along with members of the Kitty Hawk Police Department, Currituck County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team and Virginia Beach Police Department.

The girl appeared not to have any injuries, according to Harnett County Sheriff Wayne Coats.

She was taken to The Outer Banks Hospital for further evaluation, and was expected to be reunited with her family Thursday afternoon.
