36th Annual Outer Banks Senior Games registration is now open

The 36th Annual Outer Banks Senior Games and Silver Arts will take place from April 15, 2024, to April 27, 2024. Registration is currently open online at DareNC.gov/SeniorGames, and closes on March 21, 2024.

The Outer Banks Senior Games and SilverArts is an exciting two-week sporting and arts event designed exclusively for men and women who are residents of Dare County aged 50 years or older.  This Olympic-style event is designed to provide year-round health promotion and competition for participants. Participants will compete in a wide range of events including heritage and visual arts, bocce, table tennis, basketball shooting, swimming, shuffleboard, pickleball, and more.

The Outer Banks Senior Games and SilverArts are coordinated by The Thomas A. Baum Senior Center in Kill Devil Hills, in partnership with the Virginia S. Tillett Community Center in Manteo and the Fessenden Center in Buxton. For specific competition locations and dates, please see the event calendar at DareNC.gov/SeniorGames.

This program is one of 54 local games sanctioned by North Carolina Senior Games, Inc., and is sponsored statewide by the North Carolina Division of Aging. Participants in the Outer Banks Senior Games compete to qualify for the state finals which will be held in the fall of 2024 in North Carolina.
