37 new COVID-19 cases reported on Sunday, bringing Dare County total to 1,796

Dare County announced 37 new positive COVID-19 test results on Sunday, January 3, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 1,796.

The 37 additional cases consist of 19 residents and 18 non-residents, and include the following:

1) resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
2) resident, 65 over, female, home isolation
3) resident, 65 over, male, home isolation
4) resident, 65 over, female, home isolation
5) non-resident, 18-24, female, transferred isolation
6) non-resident, 50-64, male, transferred isolation
7) resident, 50-64, male, home isolation
8) resident, 50-64, male, home isolation
9) non-resident, 50-64, male, transferred isolation
10) resident, 50-64, male, home isolation
11) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
12) resident, 18-24, female, home isolation
13) resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
14) resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
15) non-resident, 17 under, female, transferred isolation
16) non-resident, 25-49, female, transferred isolation
17) non-resident, 18-24, male, transferred isolation
18) non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation

New positive cases are updated on the dashboard of the Dare County website and are shared on the DHHS Facebook page when information is received.
