49 new COVID-19 cases reported on August 26 in Dare County

Dare County announced 49 new positive COVID-19 test results from August 26, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 4,524.

With Thursday’s new cases, the current number of active cases in the county is now 173. There are also seven current hospitalizations, and 12 of the 49 cases reported on August 26 were vaccinated individuals.

The 49 additional cases consist of 21 non-residents and 28 residents, and include the following:

  1. resident, 18-24, female, home isolation
  2. resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
  3. resident, 50-64, female, home isolation
  4. resident, 50-64, male, home isolation
  5. resident, 25-49, female, home isolation
  6. resident, 17 under, male, home isolation
  7. resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
  8. non-resident, 50-64, male, transferred isolation
  9. resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
  10. resident, 50-64, female, home isolation
  11. non-resident, 25-49, female, transferred isolation
  12. resident, 50-64, female, home isolation
  13. non-resident, 65 over, female, transferred isolation
  14. resident, 50-64, male, home isolation
  15. resident, 25-49, male, home isolation
  16. resident, 17 under, female, home isolation
  17. non-resident, 17 under, male, transferred isolation
  18. non-resident, 25-49, male, transferred isolation
