A Message from Dare County Board of Commissioners Chairman Bob Woodard

Share post:

Following the Governor’s announcement on Wednesday that face coverings are required throughout North Carolina, local officials met this morning and agreed that for consistency and to eliminate confusion amongst the public, Dare County’s face covering requirement is now aligned with the Governor’s Executive Order 147.

In the video, Woodard points out that there is community-wide spread of COVID-19 throughout all areas of Dare County and emphasizes how important it is for everyone to protect themselves and others – wear a face covering, practice social distancing and wash hands frequently.

The video is available for streaming in its entirety on Dare County’s YouTube channel at youtube.com/DareCounty. It has also been shared on Dare County’s Twitter account @DareCountyGovt. The video will be broadcast on Current TV Government Channel 191 for local Spectrum TV customers.
