Share post:

The Dare County Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) stated that the Dare County COVID-19 case count is up to 25 as of Thursday, June 4, which is a slight increase from the total of 23 cases reported on June 2.

Though there is no additional information reported by the county on the two new cases, data from Dare County’s website indicates that the cases involve a county resident and a non-resident. Per the county’s latest statistics, out of the total of 25 cases, 19 are county residents, and 6 are non-residents.

There has been one hospitalization and one death since the county first started tracking COVID-19 cases in March. A total of 19 of the county’s 25 cases have recovered or have been asymptomatically cleared.
