One additional COVID-19 case reported on Wednesday, bringing Dare County total to 336
Dare County announced one additional positive COVID-19 test results on Wednesday, July 29, bringing the total number of cases in the county since the pandemic began to 336.
The new case is a resident female, in the 65 & older age range, who has been hospitalized.
Per the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, (which was last updated Wednesday morning), at least 46 of 186 resident cases are from Hatteras Island. This includes 11 cases in Avon, 27 cases in Buxton, and 8 cases in Frisco.
New positive cases are updated on the dashboard of the Dare County website and are shared on the DHHS Facebook page when information is received.
