Cape Hatteras Electric Cooperation (CHEC) will require planned power outages in Avon and the Tri-villages on Tuesday, March 10, due to maintenance to the transmission system.
The power outage schedule for Tuesday is as follows:
- Rodanthe, Waves, and Salvo will experience two one-hour outages from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m., and from noon until 1 p.m.
- Avon will experience a power outage from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m
