BUXTON — Viola Rae StyronFarrow, 77, diedFriday, Oct. 22, 2010, in a Norfolk, Va., hospital. Mrs.Farrowwas born in Hatteras and was a retired motel desk clerk with the SeaGull Motel. She was a member of Hatteras United MethodistChurchand attended Lighthouse Assembly of God and was a loving mother.
She was the daughter of the late Junius and Lona Stowe Styron and thewife of the late Roger Reid Farrow, Sr.
Surviving are her daughter, Gail S. Packer and husband Billy of Buxtonand her son, Roger Reid Farrow, Jr. and wife Kelly of Somerset,Mass.; grandchildren, Eric Midgett of Waves, Alicia PackerandLindsey Packer, both of Buxton, Jessica Farrow of Somerset, Mass.,step-grandchildren Brooke Medeiros and John Medeiros, both ofSomerset, Mass., and six great grandchildren. Mrs. Farrow is alsosurvived by her only first cousin, Aubrey Austin and wife June ofGreenville, N.C.
A celebration of life will be in Lighthouse Assembly of God on Tuesday,Oct. 26, at 11 a.m. by Rev. T. J. Rausch and Rev. DavidStowe. Burial will be in the family cemetery in Buxton. Friends mayjointhe family for a time of visitation at the Lighthouse Assembly of GodMonday, from 6 to 8 p.m.
