FRISCO — Donnie A. Williams, Sr., 75, died on Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2016at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. A native of Hatteras Island, hewas the son of the late Allen Bunion Williams and Christine BarnettWilliams and was the widower of Mamie Gaskins Williams. Donnie was atugboat Ccaptain and a member of the Cape Hatteras Masonic Lodge #698AF&AM.

Donnie is survived by his son, Donnie A. Williams Jr., and wife, Susan;his daughters, Vanniesa Jones and husband, Ricky, and Lynette Williams;three grandchildren, Aaron, Kayleeann, and Austin; twogreat-granddaughters, Naikarrah and Harley; sister, Diane Moore; andbrother, Ronald Williams.

A graveside memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Barnett Family Cemetery in Frisco.

Twiford Funeral Home, Hatteras is assisting the family with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed at www.twifordfh.com.
