A Home for the Holidays Seeks Help for Ocracoke Islanders

A home for the holidays is seeking funds and shelter for residents of hurricane-stricken Ocracoke Island.

Dorian made landfall on September 6, and with the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays fast approaching, as estimated 400 Ocracoke residents – or half of the island’s population – are still without a place to call home.

In this season of giving, please consider a gift of money or a gently used trailer to an Ocracoke family, and help provide an island home for the holidays.
