Hyde County reports an uptick in recent COVID-19 cases, which includes nine active cases
Per a recent update from the Hyde County Health Department, Hyde County is currently experiencing an uptick in COVID-19 cases.
As of 10:00 a.m. today, August 10, the Health Department reported 46 cases, of which 9 are active. Though some of these cases are associated with an outbreak in a long-term care facility, not all cases are linked to this, and community spread is prevalent.
“Please do your part to protect your neighbors, friends, and family,” stated the Hyde County Health Department in a press release. “Wear a facial covering, practice 6 feet social distancing, and continue to wash your hands frequently… As always, the Hyde County Health Department remains available to the public to answer questions and provide education. We can be reached at 926-4399 Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.”
This was the plan when they started running tourists over on the ferries, to contaminate Hyde County too.
Maybe since you don’t like the tourons much you should, you know, maybe just move to someplace where the local economy isn’t so tourism based? Just spit-balling there.
He definitely should move to someplace…
May be moving to Buxton, but not sure what you guys are talking about. I love tourist girls. There are plenty of beaches with no tourists.
Tourisism was much better 20 years ago, the people were much better and everyone was happy. Now it is a total mess and the visitors all have this self entitlement mentality.
