MANTEO — Cierra Marie Scarborough, a hardworking individual who brought love and joy to those around her, passed away on September 18, 2023, in Greenville, NC. She was born on October 11, 1991, in Pasquotank County, NC. Cierra was 31 years old at the time of her passing.
Cierra attended Manteo High School and later worked in a hotel, where she displayed her dedication and diligence. Her strong work ethic was admired by colleagues and customers alike.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Cierra’s biggest role in life was being a loving mother. She leaves behind her precious daughter, Karmen, and beloved son, Aiden Ray, who were the center of her world. Cierra’s devotion to her children knew no bounds, and they will forever carry her love in their hearts.
Cierra is also survived by her mother, Frances Midgett, her father, Londo Scarborough, her sister, Torie Luv Scarborough and her grandmother, Bertha Dale Hymes. They will cherish the memories they created together and find solace in the bond they shared.
Cierra lived in Manteo, NC, where she made lasting connections with friends and neighbors. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
In honoring Cierra’s memory, no services are planned at this time. Her family and loved ones will gather privately to share stories and celebrate the beautiful soul that she was.
Though Cierra’s time with us was far too short, she leaves behind a legacy of hard work and unconditional love. May her spirit continue to guide and inspire those who were touched by her presence. Rest in peace, dear Cierra. You will forever remain in our hearts.
