RWS Civic Asssociation to host Plant Swap on Earth Day

As part of its Earth Day Celebration on Saturday, April 20, the Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo (RWS) Civic Association will also host a free “Plant Swap.” The event will be held rain or shine.
From 10 am to 1 pm at the RWS Community Building (across from the Chicamacomico Lifesaving Station in Rodanthe) there will be space for community members to share and “swap” flowers, seeds or other items.
For the many plant lovers with too many “plant babies” needing homes, it is a perfect opportunity to share. Plant-curious folks can check out new options and tried-true varieties for everyone’s favorite price of FREE.
Here’s the place to meet up with others and share the bounty. Whether seed packs, bulbs, indoor plants, flowers, shrubs or baby trees, all plants are welcome.
No plants to share but want to try something new? Anyone may come check out the swap and take plants home. The only request is to leave plenty of goodies for others to share and share alike in the spirit of community.
