At approximately 8:02 p.m. on October 6, 2024, deputies from the B-District of the Dare County Sheriff’s Office were called to the Detention Center for a person arrested for probation violation. During a more thorough search of the individual an amount of Methamphetamine was located and seized.
Jack B. Goodwin, M/39, of Frisco, NC, was charged with Felony Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance and Felony Possession of Controlled Substance on Jail Premises.
Goodwin is being held on a 48 hour hold.
