NAGS HEAD — Donna Lee Price Savage passed away peacefully on January 7, 2025, in Nags Head, NC, at the age of 78. Born on February 24, 1946, in Lancaster, PA, she was the daughter of the late Katherine Fletter Price and Arthur Price. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Cheryl Price.
A native of Lancaster, Donna attended Kutztown State University before embarking on a career in newspaper advertising, where she dedicated herself to her work with passion and perseverance. She was also employed as a secretary by the Manheim Township Police Department.
In addition to her career, Donna was active in several community organizations. She was involved with the Lancaster Toastmasters, and she was a member of the Manheim Township Civil Service Commission and the Manheim Township Youth Aid Panel. Donna was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, where she served as Madame President.
She is survived by her loving husband, Peter J. Savage, Jr.; her son, Peter J. Savage III, and his wife Megan, of Marietta, PA.; and her grandchildren, Emma, Jude, and Adeline Savage.
The family is planning an inurnment at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery at a later date, where Donna’s life will be honored and remembered.
