OCRACOKE — Daniel Patrick Isbrecht, born on January 4, 1985, in Greenville, NC, passed away on January 19, 2025, in Ocracoke, NC, at the age of 40.
Daniel graduated from Cape Hatteras High School and pursued further education at Cape Fear Community College, UNC-Wilmington, and NC State University. His career led him to work as a cook at a local restaurant, where he was known for his dedication and skill. Daniel loved animals and the water and couldn’t imagine living anywhere but Ocracoke.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Fredrick Isbrecht; and his brother, Eric Isbrecht.
Daniel is lovingly remembered by his mother, Celia Isbrecht; his sister, Judy Isbrecht Albrecht; and his brother, David Isbrecht. His presence will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Services to honor Daniel’s life will be held at a later date.
