Larceny. 41000 block of NC 12 Hwy, Avon. Jewelry stolen from rental home. Upon further investigation the Jewelry was recovered. A suspect was identified and arrested.

Forgery. 46000 block of NC 12 Hwy, Buxton. Fraudulent checks written on a business account. The bank caught the attempted transaction and stopped it.

Breaking and Entering and Larceny. 40000 block of Westerly Lane, Avon. Residence broken into with tools and gaming system stolen. Upon further investigation a suspect was identified and arrested.

Financial Credit Card Fraud. 57000 block Peerless Lane, Hatteras. Unauthorized transactions on the victim’s financial card. Occurred overseas.

Financial Credit Card Fraud. 100 block Sunset Drive, Colington. Unauthorized transactions on the victim’s EBT card. Occurred out of state.

Obtaining Property by False Pretenses. 40000 block of NC 12 Hwy, Avon. Phone scam where an unknown suspect pretended to be law enforcement and tricked the victim into wiring money out of the area.
