Join staff, students, and community members for a heartfelt tribute to the Outer Banks’ local heroes at the Cape Hatteras Secondary School’s (CHSS) Annual Veterans Celebration on Thursday, November 9, 2023.
During this day of gratitude and remembrance, Cape Hatteras Secondary School will celebrate the individuals who safeguard our freedom. All area veterans and active-duty servicemen and women and their families are invited to participate.
The day commences at 9:00 AM in the CHSS cafeteria, where veterans are invited to gather, reconnect, and enjoy a delicious breakfast prepared by CHSS Foods and Nutrition classes.
Following breakfast, veterans will be honored during a special ceremony featuring students, faculty, the CHSS band, an inspiring guest speaker, and dedicated community members starting at 10:00 AM.
