Dare County Closures in Observance of Veterans Day, Wednesday, Nov. 11

All Dare County offices will be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020, in observance of Veterans Day.

The Dare County C&D Landfill, the Manteo and Buxton Transfer Stations, and the Manteo Recycle Yard will also be closed on Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2020. There will be no changes to the residential trash collection schedule for unincorporated Dare County or the Town of Kitty Hawk. Commercial pickup of dumpsters will take place on Monday, Nov. 9, 2020, and Friday, Nov. 13, 2020.

Dare County offices will reopen at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020.
