All are welcome at the 2024 Sailing Teams kick-off meeting on Feb 24th starting at 3 pm at the Outer Banks Community Foundation Building, 704 US 64, Manteo, next door to the Jumpmasters Jumpark. Kids, Youth, Adults, and Parents are invited to meet the coaches and other sailors. Our coaches will answer questions and go over the calendar of events planned for each age group:
– Kids: 8-12 years old
– High School: 8th-12th grade
– Adults: 18 & up
Learn about the organization’s boats, staff, and educational opportunities that are available to Outer Banks residents through Hatteras Sailing. Hatters Community Sailing is a 501(3)c non-profit established to benefit residents and visitors throughout the Outer Banks with maritime education and heritage activities.
Hatteras Sailing has a fantastic lineup of internationally recognized training boats for all ages to learn safe sail and power boating with talented, experienced, and certified instructors. All Dare County residents are encouraged to get to know the Coaches and Staff and learn how you can take advantage of the programming Hatteras Sailing offers our community.
