Duck Fire Captain Jeffrey DelMonte honored for ocean rescue

This morning, Duck Fire was honored to be visited by Commissioner Mike Causey from the State Fire Marshal’s Office.  The Commissioner also recognized Captain Jeffrey DelMonte for his selfless efforts performing an ocean rescue of two children in Frisco, North Carolina on May 15, 2020.

Joining Duck Fire for the occasion were members of the Town of Duck Council and Staff, Duck Police and representatives from neighboring departments. As a community, we want to express our appreciation for the support we receive from the State Fire Marshal.
