The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Meeting & Awards Celebration on Friday, January 26, 2024, at Captain George’s Restaurant at 8:00 a.m. This year’s event will include a full buffet breakfast, award presentations and will feature a keynote by John Formica, the ex-Disney Guy, titled “Dream, Dare, Believe & Do.”

The will include a celebration of 2023 with our outgoing Chairman of the Board, Jim Gilreath as well as the passing of the gavel to our 2024 Chairman of the Board, Robert DeFazio. Awards being presented include: Volunteer of the Year, Community Champion, Business Innovator of the Year, and Community Business Partner of the Year. Award Sponsors include Ocean Sands K-9 Resort, the Small Business Center at COA, CMIT Solutions, and Rose Harrison Gilreath & Powers PC.
The Outer Banks Chamber of Commerce is the area’s largest business membership organization serving Currituck County, Dare County, and Ocracoke County.
