Revised Trash Collection Schedule for Week of January 20-24

Dare County offices are closed on Monday, January 20 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Offices will open at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 21. The Dare County C&D Landfill, Buxton Transfer Station, Rodanthe Recycle Center and Manteo Recycle Yard will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2020 in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday.

The trash collection for the week of January 20 through January 24 will be as follows:

  • Monday, January 20 – CLOSED, No trash collection
  • Tuesday, January 21 – Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras
  • Wednesday, January 22 – Manteo, Wanchese, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Manns Harbor, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo and Avon
  • Thursday, January 23 – Kitty Hawk, Colington, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras
  • Friday, January 24 – Manteo, Wanchese, East Lake, Stumpy Point, Manns Harbor, Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo and Avon

Commercial dumpsters will be picked up on Tuesday, January 21 and Friday, January 24.
