The Rodanthe-Waves-Salvo Civic Association is gathering stocking donations for the annual Dare County Social Services Adult Christmas program. Stockings are provided to older or disabled adults throughout Dare County, including Hatteras Island.
A variety of items, including personal care, games or puzzles, candies, or treats are being collected. A full list of suggested items can be found at https://www.rwscivicassociation.org/christmas-giving
Drop boxes will be located at the Rodanthe Thrift Store by the Chicamacomico Banks Fire Department and at Hatteras Island Pet Resort in Rodanthe. Drop-off will also be available at the Christmas Tree Lighting on Saturday, December 2 at the RWS Community Building. Donations must be collected no later than December 3.
