Sponsors needed for Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation’s Annual 5K

The Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation’s (HICF) 5K is going virtual again this year, and sponsors are still needed to make this annual fundraiser, which is celebrating its 18^th year in 2021, a success.

Normally, held on the Saturday of Columbus Day weekend, this year participants have the option of running the 5K at any time between 8 a.m. Friday, October 8th and 8 a.m. Tuesday, October 12^th, and the course can be run from any starting point.

The pink-infused race will be shared on Facebook and in an upcoming Island Free Press article with highlights, and sponsors are encouraged to sign up and join in the fun.

The Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation is getting geared up for the 18th Annual HICF 5k.  This year due to the uncertain times we are living in, we will be doing a virtual race again!  This is very exciting as people can join in from anywhere at a time of their choosing!  The race will be from October 8 thru October 11.
Businesses who decide to sponsor the race will be listed under their sponsorship level on the following:

 (The deadline to sign up as a sponsor is September 10^th in order to be on the t-shirt.)
