Thanksgiving Basket Program: Sponsors & Applicants Needed

The Fessenden Center & Dare County Department of Health & Human Services are looking for sponsors and applicants for the Hatteras Island Thanksgiving Basket Program.

Sponsorship opportunities include monetary and basket donations. Individuals interested in making a monetary gift can mail checks to: Fessenden Center, PO Box 859, Buxton, NC 27920. Anyone interested in basket sponsorship information can contact Annelise Wilcox at 252.475.5764.

Participants interested in applying for the Thanksgiving Assistance Program can pick up and return applications at Dare County Department of Health & Human Services in Frisco from October 4, 2021 until November 1, 2021. Anyone with questions about the application process can contact Jessica Nonnemocher at 252.475.9320.
