Since 2012, Twiford Funeral Homes has been actively involved in making Christmas a little brighter for the children of our active duty and military veterans of the Armed Forces through their impactful program, Operation Toy Soldier. Through this initiative, over 15,000 toys have been collected and distributed by the NC National Guard Family Services to the local regional children. This incredible achievement has brought smiles and joy to countless young faces and strengthened the bond within our community.

Operation Toy Soldier is administered by Veterans Funeral Care, a 501-C not-for-profit corporation based in Clearwater, FL. They provide certification and training for funeral homes across the nation, enabling them to better serve veterans and their families. Twiford Funeral Homes is honored to be the designated collection point for Northeastern North Carolina, proudly supporting our armed forces and their loved ones.
