36th Annual Outer Banks Senior Games begin on April 15, 2024
Dare County has released a new video highlighting the Outer Banks Senior Games, an annual event designed to promote healthy lifestyles and active aging among individuals ages 50 and older in Dare County and Currituck County.
Sanctioned by the North Carolina Senior Games, the Outer Banks Senior Games—whose 36th annual event will begin on Monday, April 15, 2024—offers area athletes the opportunity to participate in a wide array of athletic events ranging from bowling, billiards, cycling and swimming to table tennis, disc golf, pickleball, croquet and cornhole, among many others.
In addition to an assortment of athletic competitions, the Outer Banks Senior Games also allows participants to show off their skills in the literary arts, photography and digital art, as well as activities such as painting, woodworking, knitting and quilting.
