Breakfast with Santa in Hatteras Village will be held December 9
Hatteras Village will host a special Breakfast with Santa event on Saturday, December 9, before the annual Hatteras Village Christmas Parade.
The menu is extensive and includes pastries, parfaits, hot biscuits and gravy, pancakes, waffles, and much more. There will be a “creation station” for children to make and take a craft, and Santa will be there with plenty of photo opportunities.
Adult tickets are $18, children 5-12 are $9, and children under 5 are free. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. and breakfast is served until 11:30, and all proceeds benefit the Hatteras Community Preschool.
“The Hatteras Community Preschool used to always do this as a fundraiser, but hasn’t done it since 2018,” said Karla Jarvis of the Hatteras Village Civic Association. “So, the Hatteras Civic Board decided we would do it as a benefit for the preschool, and all the proceeds will go to their programming.
“We are blessed to have the preschool for our children and appreciate all the work that goes into the preschool as well as those who do the work. We just wanted to do something a little extra for them this year and also bring back an event for our community.”
The event is open to anyone, not just those who have children, and anyone who wants to come out and support the preschool is welcome.
