Reminder: St. John UMC in Avon will host third annual all-day bazaar on July 20 with food, music, kids’ activities, and more
The St. John United Methodist Church (UMC) in Avon is hosting an all-day community bazaar on Thursday, July 20, starting at 8:00 a.m., and continuing until 7:00 p.m. The full-day event features kids’ activities, live music, three homemade meals offered throughout the day, and much more.
The United Methodist Women will be selling homemade biscuits and sausage gravy in the morning, followed by a BBQ lunch, and a fish fry dinner.
“We will [also] have live music under the tent throughout the day, face painting, games, a huge yard sale, and a silent auction,” said Pastor Gina Miller of St. John UMC.
Celebrating its third year in 2023, the annual bazaar will serve as a fundraiser toward Ret’s Retreat, a new building project that will create a retreat center for local youth
The St. John United Methodist Church is located at 40336 McMullen Road in Avon village, and everyone is welcome to come visit throughout the day to join in the fun.
