The Dare County Juvenile Crime Prevention Council (JCPC) announces the availability of $88,429.00 for 2019-2020. Use of these funds requires a 30% local match. The JCPC will consider proposals for Youth: Mentoring Services, Parent/Family Skill Building, Vocational Skills, Tutoring/Academic Enhancement, Resolution/Community Service, Teen Court, Psychological Assessments, Counseling, Home Based Family Counseling, Substance Abuse Treatment, Sexual Offender Treatment, Temporary Shelter and Juvenile Structured Day. A mandatory Grant Writing Workshop for New Applicant will be held on February 6 in Rocky Mounty/East Carolina Ag. Center from 9:30 a.m. -1 0 p.m. and February 13 from 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at the Currituck Cooperative Extension, 120 Community Way in Currituck.
