Due to Twiford Funeral Homes’ concern for the safety of the public and their staff in these unprecedented times, they are committed to doing their part to help slow the spread of the COVID-19.
Starting March 19, 2020, Twiford Funeral Homes will grant limited access to their public viewing areas. They will strictly adhere to Governor Roy Cooper’s mandate, allowing a maximum of 100 persons in attendance of any public visitation and funeral.
Other measures of safety precautions Twiford Funeral Homes have taken; they have established an online register book sign-in page on their obituary website for anyone wishing to sign the register book instead of attending the visitation and/or funeral. This new addition to the online obituaries complements their already existing section where condolences for the family can be expressed. Additionally, they will have an attendant at all visitations and/or funerals that will be signing the register book for each attendee to help eliminate the spread of germs. Also, added is a link on the online obituaries for you to order flowers from your computer.
Twiford’s encourages everyone to use common sense and stay away from public gatherings if you are a high-risk candidate for the virus, if you have a fever or are not feeling well.
