BUXTON — Lisa Owens Hooper, 47, passed away at home surrounded by loved ones on
Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007. She was a loving mother, wife, daughter,sister, and friend. She lived in Buxton and is survived by her husband,Buddy Hooper, son, Chase, and daughter, Avery, of the home. Alsosurviving are her parents, R. V. “Bobby” and Sarah Owens,brother and sister-in-law, R. V. and Julie Owens, all of Manteo, andnumerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, Oct. 28, from 7 to 9 p.m. atthe home on the Buxton Back Road. A celebration of life will be held atBuxton United Methodist Church on Monday, Oct. 29, at 1:30 p.m.,followed by a graveside service at Manteo Cemetery, downtown Manteo, at4:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the HatterasIsland Cancer Foundation, P.O.
