FRISCO– Bradford Taylor Swain Sr. went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 13,2012. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving anddevoted wife of over 39 years, Donna Tolson Swain of Frisco; adaughter, Bonnie S. Trout of Nitro, W.Va., and husband Brooks Trout; ason, B.J. Swain Jr. and wife Mary of Ocracoke; and fivegrandchildren, Zoee Trout, Haden Trout, and Taylor Brickhouse, all ofNitro, and Brayden Swain and Morgan Swain, both of Ocracoke.
Specialpeople in his life include his adopted daughter Leeann Canning ofHatteras and her children whom he adored and thought of as his own,Jasmine Quidley, John Canning, III and Kayleigh Canning of Hatteras andhis nieces, Leagh Swain and Leann Swain.
Mr.Swain was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma O’Neal, and hisbrother, Leon Swain, and sister, Anna Swain. Brad leaves behind manyfriends and family. He will be missed for his laughter, love, andkindness to others. He would give anything to anyone.

Acelebration of life will be in Lighthouse Assembly of God on Wednesday,Oct. 17, at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dwight Burrus and Rev. Eric Hinson. Burialwill be in the family cemetery in Frisco. Friends may join the familyat Lighthouse Assembly of God on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. or at theirhome at 51247 Lullaby Lane in Frisco from 4 to 6 p.m.
