BUXTON– Donnie Lewis Farrow Sr., 74, of Buxton died on Nov. 17, 2014 at hishome. A native of Buxton, he was the son of the late Perley Farrow andEllen Midgette Farrow. Donnie was a veteran of the United States CoastGuard and worked as a commercial fisherman.
Mr. Farrow issurvived by his wife, Shirley Bass Farrow; a daughter, Donna JeanPenfield of Buxton; a son, Donnie Lewis Farrow Jr. of Buxton; twosisters, Minnie Williams of Buxton and Annette Noble of Wilmington; twobrothers, Everette Farrow of Avon and Norman Farrow of Wilmington; andtwo grandchildren, Donnie Lee Farrow and Jesse Lewis Farrow.
Agraveside service will held on Thursday, Nov. 20, at 2 p.m. at theFarrow Family Cemetery with the Rev. Dwight Burrus officiating. Thefamily will receive friends and relatives at Twiford Funeral Home,Hatteras on Wednesday, Nov. 19, from 6 until 8 p.m. until 8:30pm.
