KNOTTS ISLAND — Bonney Ford Strawhand, 74, of 413 Southend Road, died Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Sentara Albemarle Medical Center.  Hewas born May 19, 1940 to the late Angus Matthew Strawhand and MildredRowe White.   He was a retired office supplies salesrepresentative.  He was a member of Knotts Island Methodist Church.

Mr. Strawhand is survived by a daughter, Debbie Kaye Strawhand ofFORIDA; two sons, William Glen Strawhand of Knotts Island and MichaelLathrop Strawhand of Virginia Beach, VA.; four grandchildren, ChristyMyrick, Sean Strawhand, Daryl Strawhand, Olivia Coley and threegreat-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, May 20, at 2 p.m. at KnottsIsland Cemetery officiated by Pastor Diane Johnson.  Memorialdonations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rdStreet, Suite 1100, New York, NY, 10016.   The Strawhandfamily is served by Twiford Funeral Home, Memorial Chapel, 405 E.Church Street, Elizabeth City, N.C.  Online memorial condolencesmay be expressed to the family at www.twifordfh.com.
