Lemoine Rollinson Sr.
WANCHESE — Victor Lemoine Rollinson Sr., 76, died on Monday, Jan. 11,2016 at his home. Born May 7, 1939 in Buxton, he was the son of thelate Robert Crisp Rollinson and Patricia Williams Rollinson Herbert.Vic served his country honorably for 20 years with the United StatesCoast Guard and retired as a Chief Boatswain’s Mate. He was a chartermember of Manteo Faith Baptist Church.
Vic is survived by his wife of 55 years, Deanna Beavers Rollinson; twosons, Victor L. Rollinson Jr. and wife, Allison, and Jamie D. Rollinsonand wife, Polly, all of Wanchese; five grandchildren, Victor RollinsonIII, Kasey Rollinson, Austin Rollinson, Savanah Rollinson and RileyRollinson; and three sisters, Audrey Rollinson of Buxton, Bette Grayand husband, Rudy, of Rodanthe and Celia Marie Meekins and husband,Roger, of Manteo. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by twosisters, Peggy Gilbert and Shirley O’Neal; and two brothers, BobbyRollinson and John Boyd Rollinson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 14,2016 at Manteo Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Billy Dennis officiating.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Manteo FaithBaptist Church, P.O. Box 5, Manteo, NC 27954 or onlineat www.manteofbc.org.
