BUXTON — Rebecca Gwyn Rollinson, 49, died on Wednesday, March 16,2016. Born in Portsmouth, Va., she was the daughter of Betty Rollinsonand the late Jack Rollinson.
Along with her mother, Becky is survived by two sisters, Robin Altimariand Gina Scarborough and husband, Sumner; and one brother, ChrisRollinson and partner, Mike Loh. She also leaves behind her belovednieces and nephews, Frank Altimari, Meredith Altimari, EmilyScarborough Russ and husband, Toby, and daughter, Rhett; LauraScarborough and Christopher Scarborough. She loved her uncles, HiltonRollinson and Frank Williams and wife, Gladys; and cousins, PhilRollinson, Sarah Williams, Jeffrey Williams, Mark Gamiel, ElizabethDaniels, Emily Gamiel, and Paul Gamiel.
Becky was a graduate of East Carolina University and had worked as aphotographic model and social worker. She was a volunteer at theHotline Thrift Store in Buxton. She also supported the Cape HatterasUnited Methodist Men in their community outreach and gifts to themwould be fitting tributes to her memory.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, at 11 a.m. at Buxton United Methodist Church.
