FRISCO– Gail Barclay Quidley, 81, passed away on Jan. 6, 2017. She was thedaughter of the late Orlando J. and Emma K. Barclay. Gail was a memberof Little Grove United Methodist Church. She was retired from theSoutheastern Virginia Training Center. Her love of gardening touchedmany.
Along with her parents, Gail was preceded in death by an infant son,John Russell; her husband, John Russell Quidley; and sister, AliceBontrager.
Gail is survived by two daughters, Kathy Q. Kiddy and husband Russ ofBuxton and Jo Ann Q. Baum and husband Wayne of Frisco; two brothers,David Barclay and wife Christine and James Barclay and wife Barbara ofSomerset, Pa.; five grandchildren, Christy Kiddy Oberbeck and husbandDoug, Rusty Kiddy, Nick Baum and wife Amy, Stella and Sara Baum; andsix great-grandchildren, Alissa, Brooke, and Rylee Gail Oberbeck, FinnKiddy, and Claire and Jack Baum.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Gail’s wishes werethat a memorial fund be set up for flood victims at First South Bank ofBuxton in her memory.
